KL1: KL City Tour (1)

Kuala Lumpur (KL). An interesting mix of history, culture and progress.

If you like the fast-paced, hustle-bustle life of the city; and you’ve yet to experience the melting pot of cultures of Malaysia, come tour the streets of Malaysia’s most famous city.  Among the highlights of the tour are:


National Monument / War Memorial (Tugu Negara)

Snap a shot at one of the tallest bronze sculptures in the world honoring the country’s fallen heroes.



­­The Petronas Twin Towers

A must-stop for a photo shoot at the world’s tallest twin towers; the famous Malaysian icon – Petronas Twin Towers. Here too you can enjoy window shopping at the Suria KLCC Shopping Mall (high end shopping) or simply walk-about the spacious KLCC Park.



GROUP A: Central Market

Formerly a wet market, this is THE place to hunt for Malaysian crafts and souvenirs.



GROUP B: Petaling Street  (Also known as China Town)

The famous Petaling Street (which sells “everything pirated”) boasts of dozens of stalls with all kinds of goods &  food stalls serving local favourites. If you are buying anything here, remember to bargain!



GROUP A:  Tandoori ~ Delicious Indian Cuisine  (~RM 15 per pax for dinner)

Naan bread baked in a huge earthenware jar, served with delicious tandoori roasted chicken


GROUP B:   Petaling Street (~RM 12 -15 per pax for dinner)

Whet your appetite at the famous Petaling Street (which sells “everything pirated”). Dozens of food stalls serving local favourites scattered around a lively Chinatown night-market.

Cost of Souvenirs: Souvenirs e.g. keychain, bookmarks are approximately RM3-5 per piece. Souvenirs like batik scarfs would be approximately RM15-25 per piece.
